We just want to extend a big thank you to everyone who supported us on the “Run for George” campaign, without your sponsorship and ongoing encouragement this would not have been possible,
We thought it would be hard going to raise the £4000 but with the help of ‘Southern Segway’, ‘Segway UK’, ‘The Argus’, ‘Meridian News’ and everone who sent money however big or small (and some did give very big donations) we supast the target by some margin so we can continue to provide George with the things he need to lead as normal life a possible.

With only 3 weeks to go now (how did that happen) we are back into regular training after a few weeks of being away and having to fit random training in from the rocky coast line of Hope Cove in Devon to the hot dry mountains of Spain.
I have just completed the Last 20mile Sunday run on the program, so to make it harder I chose a challenging off road route taking in both Devils Dyke and Ditchling Beacon, I am now looking forward to 3 weeks of ramping down the milage, might even get a chance of a night down the pub.

Once again a bit thank you to everyone who has contributed, Due to the media exposia of last week we are well on our way.
A very special thank you goes out to a certain someone, who’s extraordinary generosity now means that we are now up to our target and within sight of the full cost of a SEGWAY
Please continue to sponsor us, as any further funds raised will be used to help others in similar situations

Did my first long off road run this weekend, after having to abandon last Sundays due to the blizzard of snow and hail that left me frozen to the bone… and out of action for the week with the snivel!
All went well and completed in 4 hrs 20min so not bad after a week in bed.

Once again a big thanks to everyone who has so far donated to George, we are now well over half way to our goal of £4000 currently standing at £2219 raised.
With 8 weeks to go it finally looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel.
